This painting is the first of a 4 painting series done with a restricted palette focusing on silhouettes of couples in love. In each painting, the shape of a heart is featured somewhere within the design. In this one, it is between the couple embracing.
About Franklin Kielar
The artwork by Franklin depict abstract images rooted in visual storytelling. He developed his skills to sketch characters, concepts, and storyboards; while getting his Bachelors of Science Degree in Computer Animation at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. That schooling led to his abstract and surreal black and white artwork. With influences such as Walt Disney and Jim Henson, he focused on great stories and artistic skills for film and animation. For ten years he worked on independent film productions; many of which received awards such as the short film "Hope;" and feature film "Ink and Steel." Franklin continues to work on his artwork and films in Upstate New York; where he frequently attends art shows and events.
