Although I’ve been creating artwork for most of my life, it is not until recently that I’ve chosen to start branding my artwork under Paris Hill Reflections. I grew up near a town named Paris Hill and I find a lot of inspiration in looking back to the place, events, and people around there. I’ve always wanted to be an artist as a child, but never found it an easy task since I felt I lacked the natural drawing ability. It wasn’t until my senior year in High School that I rekindled the idea of being an artist when I turned to drawing as a means of meditation. Which then lead to attending college for computer animation where I met many other artists and professionals of all ages following their dreams. Never in my life had I witnessed such positive people with constructive criticisms and mutual respect for each other’s strengths and weaknesses. That environment allowed me to develop my ability and create a style my own - along with a healthy defense to criticism and opinions. Although my education didn’t lead to a career in animation, I found my place back in NY helping others with their designs, films, and projects. Seeing other people realize their vision is a great experience, however it left my own artwork on the back-burner for a long time. Paris Hill Reflections is the rebirth of my personal artwork with a focus on telling my stories through drawings, paintings, films, and projects.
